The admission to the Collection is reserved for groups of 10/15 people and the price is €25.00 per person. The visit to the Collection is guided and includes a tour of historical and contemporary cars, as well as a presentation on the design process. The Collection is an exhibition space that reflects the evolution of the company from its foundation to the present days, constantly aware of its roots and of the culture of its products and quality.
The Collection is the true guardian of the company’s values, and the visiting card with which Pininfarina presents itself to guests. The place where past, present, and future blend, conveying to visitors all the magic of the Pininfarina brand. The cars on display are among the most significant of the company’s history, from the Cisitalia to the Giulietta Spider, the Sigma Grand Prix and the Cambiano.
The layout of the main exhibition has been rearranged to enable visitors to really appreciate the design excellence that has made the Pininfarina name famous all world over: new interactive display panels link the milestones of the past and project them into the future, with the perspective vision typical of a company that is eminently innovative and creative.
A journey through the design process
A visit to the Collection also offers an opportunity to understand how a Pininfarina project takes shape. From the earliest formal ideas to concept development, from the study of proportions to the relationship between aesthetics, function and technology, the guided experience introduces visitors to an approach in which every detail contributes to creating a coherent experience.
Walking through the Collection means seeing design as a process, rather than simply as a final outcome. The cars, models and materials on display illustrate the journey from idea to form, showing how Pininfarina’s identity has been shaped over time through research, experimentation and the ability to interpret the evolution of the automobile and industrial products.
