The first ever Pininfarina Academy

The first edition of the Pininfarina Academy: Summer School in Advanced Design & DfMA just came to an end. Twelve students, from national and international backgrounds had the possibility to experience the methodology and work philosophy of Pininfarina as well as working closely with experts and professionals in the field of Design, Research and Architecture. Figures such as Federico Borello, Chris Bangle, Ingrid Paoletti, Tom Wiscombe, Arturo Tedeschi, Levent Ozruh and Pietro Odaglia, together with the internal Team at Pininfarina, guided the students through lectures and activities, culminating in the creation of a few shared projects.

The Summer School lasted two weeks, from July 14th to July 25th, and it was made possible thanks to the support of our Partner Intesa Sanpaolo, our sponsors Ghella, Mered and Manni, our patrons ADI and Fondazione Architettura, and our technical partners Wasp and Stratasys, which lended for the occasion their state-of-the-art machinery.
