Claudio Da Soller is General Manager of Pininfarina America.
Claudio has spent the last 15 years of his career in companies such as Philips, Viking Range and General Electric, specializing in business development in the premium and luxury consumer products segment across Europe and the United States. Before joining Pininfarina, he was the Head of Marketing at the GE home appliances’ division for the EMEA area.
At a young age, Claudio was selected as an officer of the Carabinieri Corps with the task of leading the military logistics department of the prestigious XIII Regiment Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is specialized in the complex organization of Italian peacekeeping operations abroad. The military experience has allowed him to master a solid discipline and sense of duty that he applies in everyday work. He loves to combine creative and innovative solutions into practical results. Passionate about marketing and especially about Malcom Gladwell’s books, his favorite motto is “Carpe diem”.
Graduated in Business Administration from the University of Udine, Claudio then earned an MBA cum laude from the Hult International Business School in Boston, with a specialization in Marketing.
In his spare time, he loves sports and traveling. He has coached children’s soccer teams for several years and holds various roles in volunteering organizations, in addition to founding two no profit associations. Not even twenty years old, Claudio received the “Fair Play” Panathlon award for exceptional sporting and educational merits.
President of the Carabinieri Association in Florida, he is also a member of the Board of the South-East Italian-American Chamber of Commerce in Miami.
Paolo Trevisan is Head of Design and Architecture of Pininfarina America. He has been in Miami since 2004, with the task of creating a multidisciplinary design team in the United States. He works closely with Italy, in particular with President Paolo Pininfarina. He is responsible for managing and delivering projects for the American continent.
In almost twenty years of experience in the company, he has managed over 100 projects that have won important international awards, including: the German Design Award 2017 for the Vitra, a skyscraper located in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil; the iF Design Award 2016 for the Cyrela tower in San Paolo; the Good Design Award for the Coca-Cola Freestyle® beverage dispenser.
In his spare time he likes to walk the streets of Miami on his Ducati or to be in the company of his wife, his 3 sons and his dog.
Samuele Sordi is Chief Architect Officer at Pininfarina of America. He joined Pininfarina in 2013, creating numerous residential and commercial projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Many of the works he managed with his team have received notable awards, such as the Vitra residential tower (American Architecture Award 2015), the Cyrela tower by Pininfarina in San Paolo (iF Design Award) and the control tower for the new Istanbul airport (International Architecture Award 2016).
Previously, he worked for the Italian subsidiary of Zaha Hadid Architect and for Archea Associati.
Member of the Order of Architects since 2006, he graduated with honors from the University of Florence, where he held an academic position for five years.
Periodically invited by various universities and in events dedicated to design in Italy, North Africa and China to discuss the most important contemporary issues.
Samuele is also one of the founders of MlabArchitects, where he developed a wide range of projects and participated in prestigious international competitions – including the tender for the restoration of Livorno Water Customs, winning the first prize in 2009.
His philosophy tries to combine stimuli coming from different design specializations – car, product, UX or UI – favoring a holistic approach for a human-oriented design.
