Residenza was conceived to appeal the high-end international market, featuring the innovative design of Pininfarina together with Green Motion engineering competences. An object developed to deliver a unique rewarding experience, designed in harmonic and symbiotic balance with the dedicated companion app, presenting voice control system and automatic cable management to simplify life and create a seamless interaction with the user.
Furthermore, the new 100% electric hypercar Battista of Automobili Pininfarina will be available with an exclusive customized version of the Residenza, designed by Pininfarina and engineered by Green Moition. The exclusive home charger – designed with luxury sustainability in mind – is inspired by the pure lines of the Battista, and features a painted cover finished in the same color the owner has selected for their electric, Italian luxury hyper GT.
A 360° experience
Supporting Green Motion in the creation of an iconic and innovative product able to stand out from competition required Pininfarina to study and understand the usability needs and the interaction paths of different possible target users. Starting from this perspective, Pininfarina analyzed and redefined the overall home charging experience by seamlessly merging digital and physical design, adding to a unique design also elements of improved interaction ranging from cable management, use of led lights and voice assistance integration, up to empowering the final user with the definition of a dedicated companion app.
Sustainable Technology
Sustainability is the main value shared by Green Motion and Pininfarina. An element reflected on the history of the two companies: Green Motion, pioneer provider of breakthrough technologies of charging infrastructure, and Pininfarina, innovative design, user experience and engineering company, boasting a long tradition in the development of electric cars. A value intrinsic to charging stations, here further emphasized by the decision to select organic and recycled components for the realization of Residenza.
