1 - Target Analysis and Concept Research
Understand clients’ requirements and mission, conduct a profile analysis and identify the customers’ needs and pain points.

2 - Preliminary Styling Exploration
Definition of the user experience and of the main key values that will be expressed through design solutions. Conduct a concept research, translated into preliminary sketches and 2D renderings, to identify the main elements that will characterize the final project.

3 - 3d Development and Design Definition
Concept development and elaboration of 3D renderings representing the product. Conduct studies in order to validate the ergonomic and realize physical mock-ups to test.

4 - Colors, Materials and Finishes Study
Definition of the chromatic, tactile and decorative identity through the careful analysis and selection of the right colors, materials and finishes.

5 - Design Supervision: Art Direction
Art direction to control execution follows original concept.
Support the client for the realization of the first prototype and for the execution of the project.

CREATING A NEW DESIGN LANGUAGE
A consistent design language is a tool to strengthen the brand, build recognition in the market and enhance product positioning. To create a coherent Product and Brand identity Pininfarina studies characteristic elements that defines the IDL and might be reproduced in the entire product line or range.
Pininfarina also extends the design language to packaging, contributing to reinforce the client’s message, enhancing brand communication, perception and consistency.
SUPPORT TO GO-TO-MARKET
Pininfarina supports the client to introduce the product to the market with different services like the design of retails, booths and experiential spaces. Moreover, Pininfarina can realize photorealistic renderings and animations to be used in the marketing materials.
