Türkiye’s first born-electric smart device: Togg T10X

• Togg announces sales price and model name of its all-electric C-segment SUV – a ‘smart device’ wrapped in a mobility ecosystem

• Türkiye’s first ever born-electric smart device, the Togg T10X will launch in its domestic market in the first quarter of 2023

• Exports to West European markets are planned to start by the end of 2024

March 16, 2023, Gemlik, Türkiye – Türkiye’s global mobility technology brand, Togg, will invite pre-order applications for its first born-electric ‘smart device’, the T10X, from users in its home market between 16-27 March. Deliveries in Türkiye will start at the end of March 2023, and exports to a number of major western European markets are planned to start by the end of next year.

Prices start from 953,000 TRY (around €47,500 including 18%VAT and 10% Special Consumption Tax) for the entry-level rear-wheel drive model. Users will be able to choose from two battery sizes and two specification levels. A more powerful all-wheel drive version will hit the roads in Türkiye at the end of October 2023.

Togg was established in 2018 with the ambition to become a global technology brand using intellectual and industrial property from Türkiye to develop a new, transformational mobility ecosystem.

The 160 kW (218 hp) rear-wheel drive model will be available from launch with entry-level V1 and higher specification V2 variants.

Both specification levels will be available with a 52.4 kWh battery that delivers 314 km of range (WLTP) and energy consumption rated at 16.7 kWh/100km.

The V2 specification rear-wheel drive model will also be available with a larger 88.5 kWh battery that achieves a range of 523 km (WLTP), with energy consumption rated at 16.9 kWh/100km.

The T10X features a charging capacity of up to 150 kW, allowing users to charge the smaller battery from 20 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes with a high power charger (HPC).

Togg has fitted the T10X with an advanced multimedia suite as standard to engage, inform and entertain occupants.

The T10X features infotainment technology powered by the latest cutting edge Snapdragon® Digital Cockpit Platform. This provides users with seamless, fully integrated connectivity thanks to advanced graphics and multimedia experiences. It also incorporates computer vision support, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to derive meaningful information from digital images, videos and other visual inputs and take actions or make recommendations based on that information. This all supports an infotainment suite that constantly adapts and learns from interactions to improve accuracy and predict future responses.

Standard on all models is a 12-inch digital instrument display, a 29-inch central smart touchscreen and an in-vehicle camera that is activated and controlled with voice command enabling drivers to safely take selfies and upload to their connected social media platforms handsfree. Users will have access to a 4G internet connection and WiFi hotspots, helping them to stay connected while on the move.

The centre console stands out as the beating heart of the T10X interior. The console contains gear and electronic parking brake controls reminiscent of an aircraft cockpit. The user-friendly touchscreen interface supports the minimalist interior aesthetic by reducing the typical array of controls and switches and encouraging users to use the advanced Trumore Voice Assistant for all convenience functions. This design approach combines latest generation technology with intuitive simplicity.

Togg’s TruStore online app store will offer a range of in-house and third-party apps to enhance the user experience across the Trumore smart ecosystem, including Togg’s online navigation app Trumore Go which integrates frequently used services such as coffee shops, grocery stores, and e-commerce sites with direct payments via its in-built e-wallet.

The V1 package also includes the Trumore Smart Life app which enables Togg users to control all smart devices from one app, including those in the home.

The Trumore Voice Assistant allows drivers to control all infotainment functions using voice with an AIengine to help with contextual speech and enable more conversational interactions.

The top-specification V2 models add a range of uprated premium features.

The exterior styling is enhanced with 19-inch diamondcut alloy wheels, stealthy grey roof rails and window surrounds, and front fog lights. Inside, passengers benefit from luxurious synthetic leather upholstery in either black or cream, with electrically adjustable and heated memory front seats, and heated rear seats.

The V2 variant also features ambient lighting in the front footwell, rear doors and upper console surround, with a choice of eight colours selectable depending on the user’s preference, contributing to the sophisticated aura of the T10X’s interior.

Additional convenience features on the V2 model include an automatic electric tailgate, heated windscreen, and adaptive cruise control with stop-go function.

Togg T10X ensures users’ personal data and digital security of the smart device is secure with blockchain technology, which has been designed to receive the highest level of five stars in all tests of the Euro NCAP program, an independent testing facility which evaluates the safety of cars in the European market. The T10X provides a safe journey in all road conditions with its standard seven airbags and advanced driving assistance systems that support its durable and robust infrastructure.

The T10X maximises driving safety and comfort thanks to driver assistance systems that can improve their maturity through continuous learning and constantly renew themselves through over-the-air (OTA) updates. The T10X offers level two autonomous driving with intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality that works in conjunction with the traffic sign detection system, intelligent lane keeping system and lane departure warning. For the first time in Türkiye and for the first time in its class, the T10X will offer the “rush hour pilot” assistant feature, allowing users to take their hands off the steering wheel in heavy traffic up to 15km/h and proceed under the control of the T10X. This feature will be activated in 2023 via OTA updates on smart devices with level V2 equipment and a special launch package.

The Togg T10X features an all-new fully bespoke platform. With independent MacPherson struts at the front, and fully independent integral multilink suspension at the rear, the engineering team set out to ensure the T10X delivers an ideal balance between sporty, dynamic handling and a compliant, refined ride.

Both the exterior and interior design of the T10X combine elements of “emotional” eastern culture and “rational” western culture, and is the result of a collaborative effort by the Togg Design Studio and world-renowned design house, Pininfarina.

The tulip, one of the deep-rooted symbols of Anatolian lands, features prominently in the device’s modern design theme. It is evident across the vehicle, from the front grille, which will come to define the presence of the T10X on the road, on its elegant alloy wheel designs, and throughout the modern interior.

Togg’s design team carefully selected materials to help channel users towards a more comfortable, connected journey through the digital infotainment suite.

• Finally, Pamukkale celebrates the dazzling white limestone travertines for which it is famous.

Togg has integrated the latest safety systems in its debut model to supplement the monocoque chassis structure.

Seven airbags are included as standard, while an advanced suite of active driving assistance systems includes a surround view camera, blind spot assistance, driver attention assist, heavy traffic pilot, front cross traffic alert, and automatic parking assist.
